We had a wonderful weekend! Moira’s birthday was on the 26th & Seth’s is today, so we did a combined birthday on the 27th! Lots of food, fun, & CHAOS! 
2 of my daughters & their husbands, plus 2 granddaughters were added to this mix & as a result, MANY photos were taken! I’m going to put some here as well as the photos section….

My husband won Logistic Planner Of the Year out of ALL THE AIR FORCE!!!! He will be attending an award ceremony in D.C. next month! While I’m bummed that I can’t be there to attend, my mother -in-law & my best friend & her husband (also Air Force) will be there as his guests!
((BTW…The Air Force is not paying his way from Korea to D.C., his squadron commander arranged it! Talk about AWESOME!!!))
He gets to go to an awards banquet, a tour of the AF Memorial & Pentagon!!!
I am so very, VERY proud of my husband!!! It’s been a long time coming…he’s worked so long & so hard. I;m glad they finally realized what they have in him!
I’ve known it all along….But do they listen to me????
You military folk know the answer to that one, don’t ya?
Anyway, please pray for his safe journey & that he has a wonderful time!

I haven’t written in a very long while. Some of it is because I’ve been frantically trying to keep up with school, housework, all while my husband is away in Korea for a year… & then tragedy struck!
On March 26th, 2008, our 22 month old grandson died in his sleep! The preliminary autopsy showed very little congestion but some fluid on the brain, indicating (I’m told) that a very bad “bug / virus” was the cause. Something that struck viciously during the night while he was sleeping.
Our family is devestated, & will continue to mourn the loss of a very well loved little boy!
Please send up a few prayers on our behalf, won’t you?
